This is the kind of misinformation/ignorance the media spreads these days. No understanding of what they are “reporting” on. Capsules? Cartridges? No mention of e-liquid for open systems. At least they use “child-resistant”
E-cigarettes, which run on batteries, heat a disposable cartridge composed of liquid nicotine. These cigarettes create a vapor that is inhaled. The bill deals with the liquid-nicotine capsules. It would require child-resistant packaging that would make it “significantly difficult” for children under the age of 5 to open these capsules. Safety warnings would have to be consistent with rules adopted by the N.C. Commission for Public Health.
