Round…5? Public Comments for E-cigs to FDA

And here we go-

If you have been watching my site from this spring of this year, you will note a number of posts specific to the FDA-CTP & Deeming Regulations. So far, the comments that appear to be favored were from the cigar industry (trip to Cuba, anyone?).

I expect the Public Health officials to continue on their counterfactual campaign to quash vaping as we know it by using a wrecking ball where a scalpel will do when it comes to regulation. As it stands, States and municipalities are passing extreme measures to prohibit not only the use but also the sale of vaping gear to ADULTS. That, and tax the hell out of it, making it too expensive even as a fetish. To what end, you ask? To “protect the children”; to make up for the loss of monies from the Master Settlement Agreement; for bribes to keep government endowments to agencies by passing BS legislation.

Summary

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Tobacco Products, is establishing a public docket in conjunction with the first public workshop to gather scientific information about electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) as announced in Docket No. FDA-2014-N-0001-0079. Regardless of attendance at the public workshop, interested parties are invited to submit comments, supported by research and data, regarding electronic cigarettes and the public health.Dates
