A number of excellent blog articles have already been written in response to the McKee / Chapman / Daube / Glantz letter, including those from @JoLincoln2, @TheRandomVaper and @VapeMeStoopid.
The assbackwards attitude and handling of the issue by people WHO ARE PAID TO KNOW BETTER v. passionate and informed consumers who advocate for vaping ON THEIR OWN DIME, THEIR OWN TIME like me are weary of battling false equivalency in the debate. I, for one freely admit that I am paid by our Government via Disablity payments due to the permanent damage sustained in working my ass off (helping companies get rich and never commensurate to my commitment and expertise) and lack of access to a continuum of care to prevent this damage. However, even this money does not make me a paid shill for Big Tobacco.
I fully expect whomever reads this “gets” the tone of my message:
I am still going to dig beneath the surface of issues, especially the ones that effect the quality of life.
