Just finished watching the live feed on http://vapers.tv from the MN House of Rep on their current bill to restrict ecig use to only where regular cigarettes are used. The usual trope of “we don’t know what’s in them” “protect minors from buying them” “marketing to children” and “note FDA approved”
Each one of those has been addressed. Each one refuted or put into context. Legislators still stuck on getting their heads wrapped around the concept of vaping not equal to smoking, that vaping emissions are not a safety issue. Misconceptions continue to sway the decision-making. the deception of perception. The gist is now it will be sent to the MN Floor, to be mixed w/ the Senate version. It was a close vote, 6-7.
